Ventura Village- Franklin Avenue is not the only haven for the drugs and prostitute's. Bloomington Avenue is also out-of-control these days. There is a new Crime Stopper Breakfast Club with rolls and coffee happening on 25th and Bloomington every morning from 6:30 - 8:30. Kids came to a meeting and asked the adults to protect them and the Breakfast Club was begun. The problem now is that with LRT getting closer and closer development is on the verge of breaking out all over. Gentrification (oops - I meant mixed-use development) and other changes are making things all the worse it seems for the poor and have-nots who live here. Spring has sprung and the worst happens between 3:00am and 9:00am. We need the Mayor to come walk the streets and help us save our community from the "crack".
