<< Obviously, you're trying to control the 40 or so formerly homeless and disabled folks who need housing and want to live in Lydia House, and the sole difference in this case is you KNOW they are formerly homeless and disabled. I still don't see a compelling case to control folks in this way, other than you and others saying there are too many KNOWN disabled folks nearby already. Other than disability, though, how are those folks different from you or me or any other renter? Gregory Luce, your friendly good urban guy, Project 504/Minneapolis (North Phillips) >> Now you have stopped alleging the displacement of people. Now over and over your saying disabled. Dis abled, Disabl ed, Di sabled. I am disabled (got my parking thingr and a goofy walk). Mr. B is talking about piling more junkies and alcoholics into a very small space, his neighborhood. It is already full, more then any other space in town, with certified dysfunctional folks. Give it a rest, please. Why did you not address his question about letting other neighborhoods share in the pleasure of sharing space with the folks you, not I, call disabled? They are dysfunctional and may be dangerous and there is a tipping point.
