Sadly, I did not Be Bop to work either, but I did Be Bop to a training ride...I'm not sure that counts...riding your bike to a bike ride?
Great advice from Robin to commuters. Especially about asserting yourself. With practice in traffic, before you know it you will be aware of the vehicles without feeling nervous. I would like to add to be aware of the piles of sand and debris that gets washed into piles along the curb especially in the spring. As Robin already mentioned, it is much safer staying away from the gunk than risking a fall in a traffic lane. Riding through sand causes the tires to surf and could cause a fall.
