Matthea, I fully agree with you in principle, except where the school board race is concerned. It (education) is nonpartisan for a race. At least it is supposed to be. I would like to see folks get together and put aside their party affiliations, and develop a process, not of endorsement, but to facilitate a candidate forum which addresses more than the same come on lines to voters (i.e. family involvement, etc.). Having a series of them, asking in depth questions and asking them to put together some realistic framework to back up what they are saying, that is what I'm talking about.
To clarify, in regard to my post earlier, I know absolutely nothing about Jonathan Palmer, so I am not speaking about him one way or the other(no offense meant Jonathan, I am sure you are a great person).
