I have thought about your post and this whole picture bothers me. I think it is way past time to call a meeting of your Crime and Safety group and invite Inspector Lucy, Captain Brad Johnson of the Park Police, your Sector Lt. and you Safe Team. Yes the documentation is a pain in the lower area of ones body, but this is the only way these issues get solved. All of these people must hear from a group of citizens that this behavior from the criminals must stop and the officers must stop the buck passing. Brad Johnson was 5th Precinct Inspector in the past. He is very open and willing to work on issues and wants results that end problems for all involved. We had to do this type of thing many times in our neighborhood and it works very well. Have dates, times, descriptions and as much detail as possible and you will see more action than you thought possible. If we sit and get frustrated and do half the process the right people don't hear of the problems. I wish you good luck and a better situation. I keep track of the crime stats in the different neighborhoods. Whittier and Lyndale both need to be aware we appear to be in an up swing in crime. Lets nip it now before it gets worse. Myrt Vikla, Lyndale. A battered crime fighter still kickin
