Several posters have raised the issue of the mainstream press not interviewing non-police witnesses. That's just what Star Tribune reporters were doing when they were beat up. Otherwise, they would have pulled out when the cops did. It's hard to get those voices in the next day's paper when you are lying dazed in a hospital bed. For the record, for the second-day Star Tribune story on 8-24 reporters did quote Toney Powell and Otis Chineth, father of Julies Powell. You could look it up...if you're willing to let the facts get in the way of a good rant..
