To add to Robin's point, I will shamefully admit that a few years ago, I was
pulled over for speeding in St. Paul -  I had hit a speed trap that if I
recall correctly, was set up on Dale St. just south of Highway 36.

I remember specifically when the St. Paul officer handed me my ticket, he
said that I should be careful to watch my speed in that area because
residents had been complaining enough about speeders to make it a high
priority for the St. Paul police.

Maybe that's what we need to do here in Minneapolis.  Instead of using
precious NRP dollars on speed bumps or the like, bug the mayor, the city
council and the MPD so much that they give in and target a "Focus
Minneapolis" effort on unsafe drivers.
