This new project will free up used homes to go on the market. Those additional, used, homes will dilute, further, the number of home offerings available and help keep home prices lower for all buyers. And thus promote the affordability of housing. Mr. Velez, snooty implications that " SKY HIGH (your caps), market-rate, non-affordable housing..." is somehow a negative, makes you singularly unqualified for the higher office and public trust, to which you aspire. It is already hard enough to get investors, with there own money, to build in the hood. Who needs, or can afford, your petty bias at the helm? It is my hope that you do not prevail.
