I attended the groundbreaking for the 'Riverview Homes ...on the Mississippi' development and felt it was just what the neighborhood needed-- some high-end market rate development on the north side. The site offers a beautiful vista looking south along the river with the Minneapolis skyline on the horizon... the site of the new Bottineau Library, slightly south across the river... Riverview Homes is located a couple blocks north of Broadway on the west bank of the river. This project will attract wealth to the north side along with the ancillary services. And, each unit carries a name that continues the memory of the former Supper Club. It would only be fitting if a 'new and similar' supper club venue would open in the same neighborhood and carry on the tradition-- profitable, live entertainment on the upper Mississippi.
