Hello Everyone:
I have a copy of the Hiawatha Avenue Reconstruction Update, April 1997, Volume 1, Issue 2, which states, "The speed limit will be 35 miles per hour (MPH) as it is from I-94 to 46th Street" MNdot is referring to the reroute portion of the road and comparing it with the completed segment. We will have more documented evidence coming from other sources soon. This publication was widely distributed to thousands of Minneapolis residents.
