The above meeting is the first step in what is envisioned to be a
three month process to review and rewrite the rules that govern
E-Democracy lists and to take a fresh look at how our forums operate
and are structured.
This process will include several opportunities for the public to
provide online comments or feedback, however much of the important
work will take place within the task force.
Agenda for the first meeting, includes:
* Identifying current strengths and weaknesses
of E-Democracy Community Forums
* Reviewing Comments and Feedback from Participants
and List Managers
* Setting Timeline and Procedures
* Initial Writing Assignments
We hope to submit a complete revision of the E-Democracy rules to the
E-Democracy Board by the end of February, 2003.
All participants in E-Democracy discussions, will have an opportunity
to comment on and register their approval or disapproval of each
recommendation, before it is forwarded to the E-Democracy Board.
