I cannot count how many times I have been asked for money in minneapolis because somebody's "car broke down." In fact, I always get mostly the same story. They go to great pains to tell me they are a born-again Christian (which back-fires, actually. I don't trust proselytizing born-agains as far as I can throw them), and then tell me thier car has been impounded and they need a ride or money to reclaim their car. I'm glad it all turned out to be a scam, since I stopped them dead cold each time.

I'm a college student, for crying out loud. I don't have any money for strangers on the street.
