The police all over the US are understating the turnouts by thousands. But
the quoted 700 in Minneapolis (also in the Pioneer Press) is all but
criminal manipulation of the media and a media willing to accept it or
consciously fail to be accurate. I was there, and like most of the others,
the figures approach 10,000; some think more, some less. But 700 is utterly
riidiculous.
