Minneapolis NAACP election dispute lands in court

The Minneapolis branch of the NAACP has
asked a court to dismiss a challenge
to its presidential election last
November.
The motion in Hennepin County District
Court was filed in response to a lawsuit
served on the NAACP on behalf of 25 members,
but not filed by them in court.
Those members signed an election complaint
alleging that not all eligible voters
had been allowed to vote because an old
membership list was used to decide
eligibility.
