I am pretty sure that the smell from the General Mills plant in NE is not Malt-o-Meal. I grew with what I thought to be the smell of a big Cheerio factory. I do not know for certain if Cheerios are actually made there or not. While in college in Northfield a got pretty familiar with the smell of the Malt-O-Meal factory there; similar but different.
Also, the more acrid smell that can be experienced in the Broadway/Central area comes from a paper company that is located near the General Mills plant. Of course what I mostly smell now, working a little farther north on Central Ave. are the almost irresistable smells coming from Holy Land Deli and Crescent Moon Bakery...hmmmm Kevin Reich Windom Park __________________________________________________ Do you Yahoo!?
