I'm wrong on the park name. Columbia Park is next to Columbia golf course. The high point is Deming Heights Park.
It's on Saint Anthony Parkway between Fillmore and Polk. The high point is on Fillmore. Before the trees were big, back when I was stupid (no comments, please!) we used to slid down the hill toward the Parkway with someone looking out for cars. No on ever got hit. The chances we took back then!! This list did have this same discussion a few years ago. I was about to respond to Jon's post to say that I've been told the highest point in Minneapolis is the water tower hill in Tangletown. I know for a fact that it has an incredible view looking *down* on downtown. Where is Columbia Park? It doesn't appear on my map. Is it adjacent to the Columba golf course? Does the city of an official surveyor on its staff who could give us the unquestionable final answer? Chris Johnson Low-elevation Fulton TEMPORARY REMINDER: 1. Send all posts in plain-text format. 2.
