Imagine how much WORSE it would be if the voters, I mean homeowners, were
NOT SUBSIDIZED by private sector apartment owners and businesses.

Using the median home value of $189,900 as a constant, here are the total
taxes that are about to be billed in Minneapolis for the three most common
classifications of real estate.

For 2003:

$2,885.43 for homestead property
$4,543.40 for apartment property
$7,943.87 for commercial property

For last year - 2002:

$2,851.31 for homestead property
$5,346.63 for apartment property
$8,079.14 for commercial property
