A quick caution about this question - selling price (in the above case, $319,000) is not the same as assessed value (which is what taxes are based upon). My guess is the Fridley manse is assessed at a much lower price than the offering price. So the baseline figure for comparison purposes might by a Minneapolis home valued at $225,000. I'd say the taxes for such a home are $2400 to $2600.
