My original post has taken on a tone that I, for one, never intended. I meant simply to point out that the property taxes in Minneapolis are already higher than many of the suburbs. With that in mind, the extremes cuts in LGA will impact city dwellers even harder.
I did not intend for this to be a suburban vs. city issue. I simply was trying to encourage people to express their viewpoints to the governor about the impact of LGA cuts on both taxpayers and services.
With that in mind, this city gal, (and always will be because she loves it and has nothing against people who live in the suburbs) will go back to lurking.
