Rep. Lindner has proven to be one of the busier troopers wreaking havoc in our neck of the woods the last few months. There's the Persian Gulf in the Middle East and then there's the intellectual gulf in the U.S. In both arenas, compassion might help if it weren't shell-shocked.

The MN House has 134 members, 3 of whom are persons of color, 2 of whom represent MPLS - how race plays out at the capital is a critical Minneapolis issue.

Rep. Lindner has a right to his beliefs and the right to express them, but his job as a public official in the State of MN requires him to respect the differences of his colleagues and by extension, the people they represent. Until he can demonstrate some kind of insight into these matters, I don't believe it is in the best interests of our state, not to mention the people who live in Minneapolis that he be in charge of anything of any substance at the House. His ignorance is too much getting in the way of its work.
