David writes: Hyperbole. Vanessa was talking about wanting to stay in her neighborhood - she wasn't suburb-bashing (I assume she means her neighborhood over other city 'hoods, too). Also, I doubt we're the only municipality in Minnesota with deferred home loans for the poor and those in poor neighborhoods....some might even be STATE programs, passed during years of Republican, suburban legislative power. The list worse for Minneapolis than Murderapolis? I'd call it inflammatory if I wasn't chuckling so hard.
