        Jon Asks:

Are police officers, like many other licensed professionals required to
take continuing credits to keep their licenses in yearly order? I'm ignorant
on this and taking the lazy mans way. If the answer turns out to be no though,
I'd sure like to know why not,

Speaking of lazy, I'd like to thank Mr. Snyder for making my idea for a
Mercado type enterprise center on the North Side a more business like sounding
proposal. All I can see when entering the Powderhorn at Lake and Bloomington
(easily as tough a corner as any in the North Side) is that these
extraordinarily fun shops seem to be thriving and growing the community. Yes, I'm a
guy
with children, and I said "fun shops". They just are. And the food is fantastic.
I mentioned to Jill off-list that I thought if a Target would commit to
an enterprise center paired with a deep urban store of their own, at the very
least their P.R. would be huge; at most, they'd start to re-grow the
disappeared middle class that is their client.

Krasnov: Isn't there always a little tag at the end of this about not
taking the flame bait? Well, "taking"here would be quite the understatement,
"engulfing whole" would maybe cover it. Good God folks, don't you know when you're
being had?
