Please, let me make it clear that I am against legalizing child prostitution.  All 
sexual relations, whether or not they involve an economic transition (e.g, 
prostitution and many marriages, especially those with pre-nuptial agreements), should 
be consensual.  I will respond more fully to Wizard's arguments tomorrow.  Still, I am 
totally baffled that she believes that even a woman's prison, especially in the 
Bush/Pawlenty/Rybak era, can offer respite to a a sex worker, whether she sees herself 
as a victim or not.  While I understand and respect many of the arguments against 
legalizing prostitution, this ostrich with its head in the sand attitude towards our 
prison system is nothing short of appalling.  And Wizard, please let the list know the 
names of the judges who go after the prostitutes and not the pimps or the johns.  It 
may give your position more credibility if you can do this.  ----------Peter Schmitz
