The Star Tribune titled their article "Minneapolis' last gun shop moves
-- with sidearms sidelined" but there is a pawn shop on 7 Corners that
advertises "Firearms - Buy Sell Trade" in glowing red neon. Maybe there
is some difference in these two retailers and what the city calls a "Gun
Shop" but Gardner Pawn and Loan has had shops up and down Washington
Avenue going back to the "hobohemia" days of the Gateway District and
might then qualify as Minneapolis' first gun shop.
