So, your saying that if the police officers had to park like everyone else and an emergency call goes out to them and they have to leave immediately, having to take the extra time gettnig to their vehicles is ok with you?
Not to mention, from what your saying is that cops shouldn't be taking a meal break, like every other occupation... I understand what your trying to say, but think about it further, if a police officer has to park his squad in a place designated like everyone else, it would take that much longer to respond to a call for assistance, besides with a city that has cut back on the number of officers on the street, having a squad car/officer presence in that location would be a good thing. If those officers were in their personal vehicles and parking in a no parking zone, I would understand your concerns which would be taking advantage of their authority while being off duty.
