Just a note about the dastardly SoBig (and just try running a list-serve
during an outbreak; I deleted 400 messages Friday before they got to the
list!):

The address on the infected e-mail message IS NOT the address the virus came
from - it takes a random address from infected computer's address books to
cover its tracks.

So whatever you do, DON'T compound the misery by sending a note (angry or
otherwise) to the "originator" of the e-mail - he or she almost certainly
didn't send it, and you're increasing the excess traffic due to this thing.

That said, Mike's warning is well-placed. However, I'm fairly sure no
infected e-mails came from Minneapolis Issues.

TEMPORARY REMINDER:
1. Don't feed the troll! Ignore obvious flame-bait.
2. If you don't like what's being discussed here, don't complain - change the subject
(Mpls-specific, of course.)
