I follow the same rule, but I made the rookie mistake of opening up the attachment 
after scanning it with my virus checking program.  I also didn't make sure that it was 
updated before scanning...

However, currently because of my situation, I thought it may have been a job offer, 
which led me to believe that it was an employer looking to get more information from 
me.
