I rode in the St. Paul Classic as well on Sunday.I certainly agree with Steve Brandt
that there is nothing stopping us from riding the Grand Rounds on our own. It's
always fun to ride, of course. For me, part of the fun of a ride like the St. Paul
Classic is having all those streets wide open and automobile free. No fumes to breath,
no opening car doors to watch for. The rest stops are great, and the camaraderie is
great. You have to pay a registration fee of course in order to pay for the privilage,
but it's well worth it.
