If I'm not mistaken, Bryant Lake Bowl went through a similar ordeal with
our city inspectors late last year, and now their menu is somewhat
smaller.

It saddens me to think that Minneapolis, despite a massive changing of
the guard at City Hall, continues to wage war against locally grown,
non-corporate enterprises. Remember how the Old Guard tried to shut down
Hard Times Cafe? Perhaps the New Guard is more clever at getting the
city inspections department to do its dirty work for them. What a shame
if this is true, for Minneapolis would generate a lot more revenue with
more funky, small shops and restaurants, and less TARGETS, Olive Gardens,
and Hard Rock Cafes.

Please correct me, Listmembers, if I'm wrong here. I'd like to be a
little less cynical about our local government, but it's so difficult
these days.

Thank you, Vicki, for initiating this thread. ----------Peter Schmitz
