SAM:
To me, CM Samuels is showing that he values the lives
of the teens for whom this center is proposed.

Once upon a time Wayne Williams offered African
American teens in Atlanta the chance to become
recording stars. If a concerned adult or official had
stepped in, they may have seen that Williams' visions
were bogus and multiple tragedies could have been
avoided.

This is not to say that Mr. Martin is comparable to
Wayne Williams. I am saying, however, that a
background check wouldn't hurt. If he has the teens'
best interests at heart, he would probably agree.
Decisions involving the youth of north Minneapolis
deserve no less care or caution than they do in Eagan
its environs.
