Upon further review of the proposal in the Strib and Mapquest, the proposed Viking 
stadium is the site of the incinerator.  I hope those proposing this don't think I 
(taxpayer) am going to pay to tear down the incinerator.

My map reading is just a little bit different.  I don't think there is 
any intention of moving or removing the incinerator. 

I do admit it's darn hard to tell just where they mean to put everything 
from the vague little drawing in the article.

I see the proposal as wrapping around the incinerator on 2 sides, 
including the proverbial mixed use housing on the southern property line 
of the incinerator.  Having spent a year parking in one of the surface 
lots "under" the planned Twins stadium, I can't imagine anyone in their 
sane mind wanting to actually LIVE there.  It's noisy, stinky and hey, 
you get to breath air polluted with heavy metals and other assorted things.
