David Piehl writes: Am I the only one who finds the concept of freeway exit ramps "flying over" residential areas to be beyond absurd? It never should have been included in the first place! Really, while that design may have technically done the job, it's exactly that kind of bad livability design elements that give engineers a bad name. I'm suprised that the public relations law firm in charge, Smith Parker, didn't understand this from the beginning! (or did they?)
