Your right on with your thoughts.
Its an idea being put out in many locals under several guises.
Its a bad bad bad idea for the public in the long run.
Its a national epidemic in the making.
Its one more example of big corporations taking over our government and country.
I don't speak of it on here since it has not come Minneapolis' way yet, so its not a 
Minneapolis specific issue.
St Paul is flirting with the idea as a way to pay for a new stadium.

True? Does it include Minneapolis sewers?

Based on what I know about sale-leasebacks, they are a very bad idea. You
basically sell your asset to investors and pay them back over time -
borrowing by any other name. Plus, you lose control of something that has a
pretty clear public purpose.

It's usually a penny-wise, pound-foolish strategy to deal with
budget-cutting.

If I'm off-base, I'd be relieved. Please let the list know.
