Where I live in the Hawthorne neighborhood, I neither need to run nor carry firearms when walking to/from the bus stop. The number 22 bus comes frequently enough on weekdays and weekends that I just walk to Lyndale Ave whenever it is convenient. You may call it the 'hood, but I call that pejorative.
