Thanks, Mark, for bringing up what's happening at The Green Institute in south
Minneapolis.

While at the Green Institute a few days ago, I spoke with Shawn Young who is
overseeing the installation of these solar panels. He told me that during the sunnier
summer months this array of solar panels will provide approximately 60% of the
building's power needs. During the less sunny winter months, approx. Nov.-March, it
will provide approximately 40% of the building's power needs. To his knowledge, the
Green Institute's solar panel array will be the largest in the Midwest.

In addition, the GI, in conjunction with Hennepin County, has created the Phillips
Community Energy Cooperative. Here's a link to their website that has all the info.:

Bill Anderson, a Minneapolis city staffer, works on Minneapolis' "Green" initiatives.
He could speak most knowledgeably about what the city is doing in terms of "Greening"
our fair city. In conjunction with his office, Minneapolis has taken the lead on a
number of "Green" initiatives.
