I am an active volunteer and past board member of PEACE, Parents and Elders of Africa for Common Efforts. It is a non-profit registered with the IRS and MN Sec. of State. Referring to councilmember Samuel's PEACE foundation that will be announced today- I am wondering if someone on the list can tell me if the Sec. of State can register two non- profits with the same name?
The Sixth annual African PEACE festival will be held June 12th, noon to six at Matthews Park in Seward. We are looking for interested volunteers and vendors-especially food vendors selling African cuisine. The festival features a naturalization ceremony where immigrants become citizens, music, food, kid's activities and Soccer tournament. Thanks, Scott Vreeland Seward REMINDERS: 1.
