My understanding is all it takes is a slight change in the corporate name and the SoS office will not see it as a conflict. The organization promoting Samuels is called PEACE Foundation, so it's likely that the difference is adding the word "Foundation" and that was sufficient to register the name without conflict.
My own concern with the PEACE Foundation site is that, alongside a list of very noble community action and coalition issue goals is a very transparent paean to Don Samuels as an individual. That personal and political promotion effort mitigates severely the more laudable issues focus the site seeks to use for coalition-building. It smacks just a bit much as a re-election promotion and personal glorification effort. Too bad.
