I see where some Council Members are questioning whether the Twin Cities Marathon's decision to award prize money to Americans only violates the city's anti-discrimination ordinances based on national origin. If the TCM backs down, it will be quite an embarrassment as this decision has received significant national play. It may be more embarrassing if a large number of African and Russian runners enter out of protest and the top American finisher and purse recipient finishes in 20th place.
