Now Annie Young says that "...it is a manipulation of words to say something different from what really happened." That may be true, however, given the context of that statement it seems to imply that I said something about the Green Party endorsement meetings in 2002 that is different from what really happened. Did I not receive a bare majority of the votes at 2 Green endorsing meeting in 2002?
As I understand it, the statement about getting "a bare majority" of the vote at a couple of Green Party meetings was considered misleading because some people might not know "the rest of the story," i.e., that a 2/3 supermajority is needed for the endorsement for Green Party endorsement, and that my "bare majority" was less than that. It is one thing to point out that a statement is misleading for this or that reason. However, that is not the same as accusing one of **deliberately** making misleading statements.
