This is my last response to the debacle going on between Doug Mann and the Green Party. I am sorry to see this "dirty" laundry being sent to everyone in the City.
And lastly Doug:
Regarding my support of DFLers, etc. - Good grief, Doug more DFLers than Greens continue to re-elect me to office - Everyone in this city is my constuient - no matter their party. And the last I looked I thought that one of the ways to develop political acumen and garner votes was and is:
Win friends and influence people.
When one is elected to office it is wise to build coalitions and garner partnerships. After all the name of the game is "COUNT THE VOTES". No matter one's ilk or issue - it talks xxx amount of votes to get it passed. In my case, 5 - in Dean's or Natalie's case, 7.
In my book, the above means, plain and simple: DOUG, YOU DIDN'T HAVE THE VOTES! Over and out, Annie Young
