Bruce,
To quote me is okay but as David states...Why is this an LRT issue? It is
not. The fact that I live in an area that is not convenient for the LRT does
not make LRT the problem. The problem lies in transit making judgement calls
about some of its bus service and how much they wanted to feed into the LRT
line.

To say it takes me 1/2 hour longer to get to work is okay but then you also
have to give the figures...it shaves off 10 minutes if I go directly
downtown and it shaves off 1/2 hour when traveling to the University.

The LRT is important, the commuter rail to the North is very important. We
need rail along 35 from Burnsville into the city; from the lake area to
Hudson along 394/94.. It is most unfortunate that we are 20 plus years
behind; so my half hour is not important!

Onto a park issue... The fields out in Fort Snelling were built for the
inner city children to play on..were they not? I recall that being a selling
point. So now the board feels they are losing money on Ft. Snelling? The
activity on the fields seems to be on the same level as the patron lots.
Until LRT gets out there, children do not have access to that area unless
driven.
Thanks to Chris from Fluton for Park notes...I for one appreciate them.
