i just found out about the mayors vetoand couldnt be more pleased.i also read jim grahams comments as well as jamal omar from somali advocates.first and foremost i am a tenant of karmel mall and we did kick him out from the mall.the reasons being is that his motives were suspect as he told i and the other tenants that if we sued sabri we could make alot of money.we are more concerned about living in peace.secondly mr.omars credibility in our community is zero as he has yet to let us know what he actually does for the community.peoples personal vendettas cannot come in the way of progress.mr.omar and characters like him that refer to us being oppressed are way out of line.we give rent to sabri i dont see anyone moving out of karmel.if we were so oppressed doesnt it beg the question why arent we moving out?

we know Jim graham said he was approached by whittier neighbors to "look into"" this i wonder what neighbors those were.the ones who are black and concerned about housing?or the other oneswho are worried about 3 days of sunshine on the greenway in january?its impossible for us to worry about sunshine in the dead of winter when we dont have adequate housing.didnt some queen ask her subjects why they just couldnt eat cake?the similarities are frightening. The kind of dont see dont touch concern mr.graham and whittier are practicing is concern we dont need.this is a neighborhood we enjoy being at and we want to move in and unless""protective covenants"" are back we will.i am so proud of the mayor and i know he just got himself a volunteer.mr.lilligren on the other hand november is just a year away its amazing what long memories somalis have.
