Approved by vote of 7 to 5 with Johnson-Lee away on City Business
Approve recommendation to award exclusive negotiating rights for 120 days to the team comprised of Hennepin Theatre Trust, Historic Theatre Group, LTD and Clear Channel Entertainment for operation, booking and disposition of the Orpheum, State and Pantages
Approve recommendation to amend the Management Agreement and Master Use Agreement to allow for management and booking through June 30, 2007 to avoid potential loss of advance booking; Direct staff to add to negotiation objectives to conclude a negotiation with an entity that would include no change in working control and assignability.
IT IS A GREAT DAY FOR ALL OF THE CITIZENS OF THE GREAT CITY OF MINNEAPOLIS.
