Annie Young asked, of my request for DFL candidate info for the SW Journal:

I just want to clear up any misunderstanding. The most immediate contest on
the schedule is the March 1 DFL precinct caucuses; I'm asking for the
candidate info so I can best inform our readers who may participate.

I think that during my tenure as editor, the Journal has been quite good at
giving other parties' candidates serious coverage. For example, anytime
someone announces for a race in our coverage area, they get ink no matter
what their party. We will of course cover other parties' nominating battles
when/if they develop.

Right now, though, the DFL contest comes first, thus the request.

If any non-DFLer knows something we missed, or wants to talk to me about
coverage, please feel free to call me at 436-4371 or email me at this
address or [EMAIL PROTECTED] (DFLers can, too; we don't discriminate
<grin>.) That will work for Skyway News, too.
