I would like to see more transcribed discussion from the cable TV show where Booker Hodges allegedly made a death threat directed at Don Samuels (an excerpt is pasted below my closing). Was there any discussion of Tyrone Terrill's open letter to the African American Community, and Don Samuels' endorsement of it?
In my opinion Booker Hodges didn't need to apologize to Don Samuels for allegedly making a "death threat." The incident with Al Flowers at the DFL convention suggests that Samuels consulted RT Rybak and others before filing the police complaint (the following monday). If Hodges is charged and brought to trial for making a death threat, and is competently represented, I doubt that a jury would convict him. However, the accusation itself is enough to gag Flowers and Hodges for a while. Under pressure from City Hall, MTN killed the cable show that Flowers and Hodges have been hosting, for at least three months, due to allegedly 'unlawful speech.' -Doug Mann, King Field candidate for 8th ward city council http://educationright.com Dennis Plante wrote: <<Here's a transcribed excerpt that was passed along to me, from the cable-television show from which the charges were filed... We as a people, one in Minneapolis have to unite, and we have to learn from, like, Nat Turner's mistake, and we have to kill the house niggers. We got to kill the them. And that's what we're doing on this show - we trying to kill a house nigger. And we have to get in power. 'Cause you have to understand as long as we got to go beggin' to somebody we're never going to get where we need to be. DFL for example, Rep. Ellison, Neva Walker, even Council Member Samuels, the black people running over in the eighth ward City Council, why would you need this party to run in your own neighborhood when you the majority. You don't need this party, people, to unite people you have to understand and get in the right mindset. We have to get in power" REMINDERS: 1. Be civil!
