Gina Palandri said (with Keith comments in parentheses): I must say I am now tired and bored of the smoky whiners..or are they whiny smokers already? We are wasting space on this board discussing why some people are mad that they cannot light up at bars?? (--Keith says: I think people should be able to smoke at the Smokers' Bar; and I HATE tobacco.--) If a bar can only succeed if people are allowed to smoke, I think they ought to rethink their business plan (--Keith says: Taking Gina's controlling of others a step further; perhaps "...If a bar can only succeed if people are allowed to..." DRINK "... I think they ought to rethink their business plan." I guess Gina likes to drink but not smoke hence that is what everyone must abide by.--) furthermore I wish there was more rules and people could not smoke so close to the doorways of bars and restaurants-now theres some real annoyances. (--Keith says; If they were not banned from smoking inside; they could be banned from smoking outside; outside being a public space, and all.--) Gary Schiff was not the only city council person to support the smoke-free cancer free ban..so isolating him out is merely "picking" on him. (--Keith says; Again I HATE tobacco; and Gary was the Godfather of that interfering, micro social managing and meddling piece of trash ordinance. Thank goodness he is not down on GLBT; I can only imagine a ban on same sex necking at the gay bar. Remember, I hate tobacco but people go to the neighborhood bar to DRINK AND SMOKE. If they do it inside I can stay away from their experience by simply not entering there.--) Gina Palandri Standish
