Could we have a discussion list where the list manager limits himself to not allowing threats of violence between people on the list and obvious insults such as, for example, you g..d, mf, SOB, and does not bar topics and ideas? Read John Stuart Mill.s ON LIBERTY for a discussion of the advantages of such an approach. Can we have the same freedom of speech on this list that is guaranteed by the U.S. Constitution?
