Okay, I will give my honest opinion...I was surprised, well, maybe shocked, when Johnson gave Belton the position in the first place. SSB had lost the mayoral position, but husband Steve got a job paying $80,000+, filling a position *Diversity* which had not been filled for years. My
memory says 13... but someone might know for sure.

At the time of Gov. Carlson...school administration ate up 85% of monies. Don't know what is going on now. I am leaning towards Peebles in this fight..I think we need to give her a chance. At least let her work out her contract. Perhaps this is where the true riff is coming from and the powers that would like to be are getting moved on out. Let Peebles do what she needs to do and what she was hired to do.

All the salaries in the City of Minneapolis seem to be excessive to me...of course, we compete with Chicago, Palm Beach, Miami...Chicago has 2,869,121 residents...Palm Beach has 1,137,000 residents and ranks 3rd in the nation for one million dollar homes followed by Miami which sports fourth in the nation. with only 87,000 residents. Minneapolis with it's 382,618 (2000) residents and with higher salaries than national average...
seems to be playing with the big boys!! Yup...they are excessive!

start with the financial one since MSP is facing (another round) of such
deep cuts.

Why is Belton's 9 month contract for $122,625? I have an honest question
that I would like to hear opinions on. Does that seem to be excessive?
