Here near 34th and Hennepin in Uptown, power outages have occurred at least four times this summer. After one storm I was without power for 11 hours. I lost power in the 2-4 hour range several times, one of which occurred during a "normal" temperature day. When I lose my power it appears that much of Hennepin between Lake and 36th loses it as well.
A sidenote, when the power goes out to traffic lights, you are supposed to stop, yes? I have witnessed many near-accidents at 34th and Hennepin and 31st and Hennepin this summer with people wizzing right on through...on both 34th and on Hennepin. -Thatcher Imboden CARAG REMINDERS: 1.
