Writes Linda Mack:

"Tonight [tomorrow] the Park Board was scheduled to consider an agreement
with DeLaSalle that would allow the 106-year-old school to develop plans for
a football and soccer field and 600 to 750 bleacher seats on the east side
of the island. Late Tuesday, Park Board President Jon Olson said he would
propose instead a resolution that would create a citizens advisory committee
to review the issues surrounding the field before the Park Board enters a
binding agreement with DeLaSalle. His resolution suggests the committee
return to the Park Board Oct. 15 with its findings."
